In a previous test, I said loud and not too appreciate the manga kawai sauce (and I will not repeat the puns you two euros on sauces). I lied a little. Admit as much. But I had a very decent introduction, much like what I seek in vain to write here with the forms. Actually, I've always loved manga, and had secretly liked the "Juliet" "Juliette, I love you." I love drawing, I love painting, I love the manga, I love art, so I like the manga is an art form in itself. Because he always puts forward the facial expressions. And everyone knows, a face never lies. It's not Jack Nicholson contradict me.
There are many games that echo the design of the manga. Most in favor of pure action, unfortunately. Few people use this universe for less brutal and more subtle. A genre is under-representation, at least under-representation quality of the visual novel. This kind somewhat unusual, well known in Japan, of putting yourself in the shoes of a character even within a written and pictorial, as in a novel that could be described as interactive story. There are little, but a little research on the playstore, with the delicacy of my fingering (many women tell me so), I recently discovered Sepia Tears (entire program), developed by Team NEET game studios . Hoping that this team makes a clean sweep in a genre that deserves a little sweep as one Marry Poppins is able.
A new visual failing a visual novelty
As I said, artistically, the manga has some leg that can love or hate, of course. Often characters with strong expressive faces, with eyes wide open to the world, to other stereotypes. Sepia Tears are part of this trend, with well designed and very nice to look at after all, especially girls characters (I must say what it is).

However, on the surrounding scenery, we alternate rapidly in enchanting beautiful, but also the poor. Clearly, Sepia Tears does not happen to be an overall harmony. The backgrounds are, mostly, photographs reworked with pastel colors. There are also good and not so good with the bad impression of unfinished business, as a non-dry paint.
The result is a big contrast between the quality of what is really designed and what is just reworked from a conventional carrier. To say that fiction is more interesting than the reality?
Fiction worked and enchanting
The main advantage of a visual novel, the founding principle that the whole is and remains its main framework lies in its history. And from this point of view, Sepia Tears is rather successful. As the majority of these interactive stories, the topic is love with a capital A, not with a big pile like some say square parts.

And yet, the story is much more square than some parts, even if she goes on so-called classic for the genre bases. You play (like a nail) a high school student named Mark (with a "k", for more klasse) meeting a girl named Myra. Who seems to know him better than he knows. Is taken from a dream or a past reality or buried? Such is the theme developed. An interesting theme that will feature several secondary characters such as the sister of our hero is none one, his best friend, and a girl to whom he bears an uncertain attraction. In short, it's a love story, you guessed it, is promoted. But a complex love story, like all true love stories (See "Juliet, I love you", you'll understand).

| Myra tends to come out of nowhere! |
The strength of Sepia Tears is not only to mourn the trees, but to mix and share the player with strong emotions, sometimes contradictory. One can easily go from laughter to concern from fascination to confusion and despair to love. Like a good genre film.
A genre that can serve the game
With such an appellation paragraph, many will arise simple question that I have been writing still booze. And many, I hope, will be happy to know that I have not been drinking.

The visual novel has the distinction of having little to offer shares to the player. We are far from a book you are the hero. Only a few choices, timely, blocking or unblocking some scenes will be there to guide you. But they are rare, very rare, thus relegating the player a bystander. Gender and the like, but some might feel frustrated by too few opportunities. It can be seen as a form of weakness: it puts you in the shoes of a character who lives a strong story and, in some respects, as exciting introspective, but with the inability to finally do what we want to do well .
From there, we can legitimately ask whether Sepia Tears is a real game or just a literal experience. As a player for many years, having lived many times, I would say that Sepia Tears player, despite the restrictions mentioned above. Because it is fun. Whatever one may say. Between the successful history distilled to suit snowflakes humor, feelings that will be born in the right without falling into the flower-blue, Sepia Tears is very distracting. And it is a sign of some form of success.
Completely free, generally well drawn out sets, with a plot where the writing has not been set aside, Sepia Tears is a visual novel successful. It may intrigue you, as long as you have a decent level of English (nothing is insurmountable and yet I'm hardly an expert in foreign languages, in addition to those girls I crossed during my adolescence) or even totally absorb you for many hours. However, before the few significant choices during your journey, and this impression, sometimes unpleasant, to be faced with a simple "anime", it will alienate hairier of you. Yet it turns out to be a pleasant surprise for those worshiping the genre. For others, try it anyway, it will not cost you anything except a little of your time and a simple uninstall if you do not hang. For my part, I am disappointed to have finished it and I wait, impatiently, that Katawa Shoujo (another visual novel quality) is finally adapted on Android. But there was enough to make my heart teenage daydream, because hearts do not age, especially about love. With that, I must leave you, I have the latest "Juliet, I love you" to look by hiding my tears with a trembling inning.
