The most realistic racing game on Android tablet is back! After putting everyone agrees with Real Racing 2 (read our review) there is a little more than a year, Australian Firemonkeys to serve us the third installment of their race simulation Real Racing.
Upheaval in size, the game is now available for free download, a model course offset by purchases "in-app" optional. Is it spoils provided driving pleasure?
While we waited for the end of 2012, Real Racing 3 will eventually be waiting until the last day of February (and earlier for some lucky New Zealand, Australia or Canada). Real crazy racing game, as you say I expected this game to turn (sorry for the pun) and I am eager to install it on my Nexus 7.
First laps.
After much downloading over a gigabyte, small briefing on the wheel of a Porsche on the famous Laguna Seca. At that time, enjoy good, because you're not ready to put their hands on the wheel any time soon, so once the warm-up lap is completed, you start the adventure for real and it will choose a petty cash to start small.

| Goodbye little GT3 RS ... I hope we'll meet again ... |
And already, the disparities between the "rich" and "poor" are felt: you can choose a Nissan Silvia or a Ford Focus with the "R $" that are allocated, but if you want a BMW or a Dodge Challenger (whose characteristics are obviously better) it will have to fork out (another pun intended) because you will of course not enough money to offer them to you.
Nay, I choose to try their luck for free as far as possible. And like the Ford Focus RS is always checkout "rotten" that you refourgue early every car games (that's true, why) I choose originality with an old Nissan Silvia.
Always in multiplayer, but not for real.
The first races are really easy, opponents will hang and you win races without problems. A strange thing with Real Racing 3 is that you always run against real opponents (other players) but not in real-time. But not a ghost either. In fact, collisions are handled while other drivers have already virtually finished the race, I do not know exactly how it works, and it's quite original, but in the end it does not interfere with the gaming experience.
In fact, the "multiplayer" Real Racing 3 mode boils down only to compare race times with friends via Facebook. It is the art of getting a "social" aspect (and rather saw) for a true multiplayer mode. Bluff. To race in real-time with friends, it's still not for this year, unfortunately.
Nearly 1,000: the number of events that you have to win to overcome Real Racing 3 This means that the life of the game is pretty consistent ... especially if you choose this challenge mode free. Developers have had the good idea to mix pleasure with game modes that do not always look like a "classic" race. There will be duels for example, tests of elimination, stamina (run as far as possible in a limited time), speed records or duels 'drag' where you have to change gear at the right currently on an acceleration event (really bad).
In-app payments abusive: we are at EA.
In addition to all these races, you can choose to participate in the race this week. For example, this week is a challenge Audi R8 LMS at Silverstone. Ah, it was reported to me that the headset must first buy the car but it costs more than 256,000 credits (after 30% discount, what a bargain!). So have more than 10 euros (real) to buy a credit pack enough stocked that allows you to participate in this event of the week: frustration.

| I would have one day. I would! |
Good steering feel.
Pilotage Real Racing 3 is very similar to the previous game. That is a good balance between realistic behavior and simplicity imposed by the touch screen. Outside the control mode by default (take the tablet as a steering wheel, automatic acceleration and braking touch if necessary) you can choose from other variants such as "mini-wheel" touch, choose to accelerate yourself ... in principle you should find the type of control you need.
Some driver aids are also present and can be disabled, such as brake assist (which by default is very strong and you'll quickly want to reduce or eliminate) or the assistance of traction (traction).
Graphically, a real nugget.
Do you really think I was going to fail to mention the graphics? It's no secret that Real Racing 3 is beautiful. But that we already knew from the visual slap of the first video. Finally, the difference with Real Racing 2 is not so striking, even if we feel a big improvement. The textures are good, mostly. Some backgrounds such leave to be desired, and the scenery in general often seem empty (eg circuit Bathurst - Mount Panorama).
Speaking of tours, they are all faithful reproductions of real circuits, and you've probably covered in other racing games: Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheimring, Silverstone and many others.
We even noted a few glitches, annoying but not giving the impression of a game not quite done: some decorative elements appear through the track. But overall, we are obliged to note that Real Racing 3 is anyway the best racing game on Android, especially with its detailed interior views, modeled with great care cars (details rims, interior lights) and even crash a little further in this new play.
The soundtrack is also very successful, particularly its engines. What a pleasant surprise not to be faced with a concert lawn! Beautiful for developers on this. The music that accompanies the menus and shopping is as good and fits well into action. We just regret the sounds of crashes and collisions, often quirky, disproportionate, incoherent: in short, to improve.
Care of his vehicle to spare his wallet.
After each race, your car will waste (tires, brakes, body, engine ...). After a time (not necessarily after each race) he will have to go through the "garage" box to fix all that. It costs a little play money (not much) and especially time. Each repair action will last longer or shorter time, and during that time your vehicle is stationary and you can not play.
This is the only chosen Electronic Arts for its free-to-play model. You can choose to ride with a box a little bumpy, and have slim chances of winning the race (the car landed squarely when the tires are worn) or repair, wait, or use "Gold" items, those famous credit you in very limited quantities, and you begin to know enough to know that it is saving the better. One could also see this as a realistic aspect in real life, the world of motorsport manages to those who can afford. Those who can buy faster cars and improvements will, others will just persevere and do with the means at hand. We must also be careful not to make too many accidents, for fear of being disabled for the following races. The problem is that here we are in a video game, and we're here to have fun: inevitably, the model chosen by Electronic Arts leaves a bitter taste, where a game would simply paying most satisfied players (quality being far appointment).
Conclusion: it would be perfect, if only ...
That Real Racing 3 is a beautiful and globally successful game, it was clear even before its release (given the previous achievements of the studio). What was feared, rightly, it is the will of Electronic Arts to make a play typically "pump-to-cash" as he has become accustomed to. It could have been much worse, but we would much rather have a simple game fee: for such quality, the players would have had no trouble putting the hand in the pocket. Once.
